There are a few minutes of colourful glory as Sister Sunrise ascends behind the far horizon. It doesn't last long before she goes orangish-yellow, an ethereal gold that slowly becomes more blah. Without a cloud in the sky to reflect any more colour and make the shot more distinguishable, she is all I've got.
Seeing how Sister Sunrise is nowhere to be seen this morning, and in light of today being a "red" day in support of Nova Scotia, here's a red sunrise from the past when there was ice. Stay strong and stay home.
Sister Sunrise is always her most colourful before she peeks her nose over the horizon. Thursday, April 23, 2020.
